Kaël Lopes is a first-year MBA student at Kogod’s School of Business and a Master of International Development student at the School of International Service at American University. Previously, Kaël served as one of the Regional Representatives for Peace Corps Paraguay where he facilitated the development of community partnerships and projects. More recently, Kaël also has served as a business development consultant where he developed digital transformation and rebranding strategies for mid-sized firms. Prior to American University, Kael earned his bachelor’s degree in political economics at the University of California, Berkeley. Kael is a California native who has a passion for learning languages, exploring nature, and cooking new types of food. Given he has only been to one national park thus far, his favorite national park is Yosemite.
