New River Gorge National Park & Preserve
Jacob (Jake) Frame is a first-year MBA and Master of Environmental Science (MEM) joint-degree student at Yale School of Management and School of the Environment. Jake spent the proceeding ten years in the U.S. Army, where he began as an Infantry officer and later transitioned to the Civil Affairs specialty. In this most recent role, he served as a liaison between a multinational coalition of military forces and local governments in Syria and Iraq, while also planning and implementing humanitarian assistance projects across the region to assist with post-conflict recovery efforts. Jake grew up in Morgantown, WV and holds dual B.A. degrees in Geography and History from West Virginia University. Outside the classroom, one may most often find him jogging around his New Haven neighborhood, skating at Yale’s ice rink, or at home planning his next international vacation. His favorite National Park is Mount Rainier National Park in Washington, where he circumnavigated the mountain while hiking the Wonderland Trail in 2016.
