Dimitria Spathakis

Grand Canyon National Park

Dimitria is a first-year MBA/MEM joint degree student at the Yale School of Management and Yale School of the Environment. Previously, Dimitria served as a logistics officer in the United States Marine Corps, leading teams in Hawaii, Japan, and Thailand. She has also worked for the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) as a field instructor, teaching leadership and risk management through outdoor education. Dimitria grew up in New Jersey and holds a A.B. in Biology & Eurasian and East European Studies from Bowdoin College. She enjoys paddling, hiking, lawn games, and following professional soccer. Her favorite National Park is Grand Canyon after having the incredible opportunity to raft the Colorado River in January 2017.
